old interview when yukkie first joined laruku.

---when did u guys first met?

t: when i first met yukihiro kun..it was..
y: *laughs..looking down*
t: what are u laughing at man....haha...it's like...back in 89'
y: HAHHAHAHAHHAHAH!!
t: I went to Zi: Kill's tour right after yukkie joined that band..the tour..
what was the title?
y: change of king tour (?! i'm not sure..i just read right off the katagana..)
t: yeah yeah! That~ hmm..still very fresh in my mind.
y: i think the title is cool.
t: i went to see it in Kyoto
y: You went by yourself?
t: Yeah by myself ( and tetsu commented on a video i dunno what it is
so i didn't put it here ) did u guys have osaka stop for that tour?
y: no we didn't
t: yeah guess that's why i have to take the train by myself all the way down
to Kyoto!! Hmm...miss those days ne..that time..yukkie's around 20..and i'm 
around 19 ?
y: he~ almost 10 years ago!
t: when i saw you guys on stage..i noticed that the drummer had changed.  At that time
the member change wasn't officialy announced yet i guess.
y: yeah, at that time the vocal Tusk (now in Slut Banks) doesn't do a lot of MC.
The audiences don't really know if there's a member change ..-_-"
haha u know some people were even screaming the ex-drummer's name " Masami " !!!
man....makes me mad ! *laughs* (^^; poor yukkie)
t: after that i saw Zi:kill's live again in osaka.
y: when?
t: after " Close Dance"
y: Oh in 90'..?
t: But at that time i already thought of forming L'Arc.  but i don't
have any members yet.  at the Zi:Kill live i was talking to some guy,
i asked him if he has a band and he said that his band had disbanded
and he's looking for new members.  he plays guitar.and i told him i play bass
and i'm looking for members too.  then he suggests that we go down to the studio
some time..and at that studio, i met hyde for the first time.  So its' like, 
if i didn't go to Zi:Kill's concert, i'll never get to know hyde! It's indirectly
like..Yukihiro gave me the chance to know hyde....interesting eh? ( ~~ sounds so 
romantic..haha...this is FATE right?)
y: when i first met you, was it in osaka?
t: oh when Die in Cries came to Osaka for concert? We
were in the same company..so i went to the live too.  was that the
time we first met? didn't we meet at recording before that?
y: Oh yeah, when i was recording in Shinjuku.
t: when i went to tokyo..u guys were recording ..that's when we first
actually met personally and get to talk ne?
y: Yeah, around when we were making 1st album.
t: i recorded Dune in that studio too.
y: at that time when i first met tetsu, i thought " doesn't tetsu look more kakkoii
without make up? " 
t: yeah many people told me ...even the " desk girl" ( receptionist..) said " tetsu u look better without
make up ne!" ..ah...but who cares..i still have to put make up

--what was the first impression of each other?

t: he's not the type that will start chatting a lot once he meet someone.
it's kind hard to get to know him...but among all the senpai in our company,
yukkie saw our live the most.
y: yeah, buttokan, NK hall, xxkan... ( i dunno how to prounce the kanji.sorry)
t: he's a good senpai ne!
y: ..although...i'm not the kind that always go to
live concerts...but i went to many laruku live becoz i wanna watch it
t: hmm but it was only last year that we really talked and played together.
a friend knows both of us, and we hang out a lot in his house.  sometimes when
i go to his house yukkie's there..or vice versa....and soon we became good friends.
naturally, we go to eat together, play playstation together, we both like
Gundam and Evangelion a lot!
y: but when i heard that tetsu likes Asuka, i was like " what the hell!?"
t: Hey you!! What the hell do you mean ! ( ^^; yeah...so weird..not many ppl
likes asuka ne..)
y: Haha...oh man, for me, it's Ayanami Rei all the way!
t: Well...yeah..Yukkie's Rei fan and i'm Asuka fan...Yukkie
taught me lots of stuff about Eva ne.  He saw it when it was first on air
(tetsu actually said "he saw it REAL TIME when it was first played" haha..)
I only saw it last year when it was played on TV again..kinda slow ne.
he taught me lots of stuff...also collected plastic models.
y: really got to know each other that well in that friends house ne!
at that time, i put some equipments in that friend's house and was doing remix for
Tokyo Yankees (???) that's why i always go to his house ne.
t: when i went, yukkie was doing remixes.  i thought, " Wow! he even knows how to do that?
sugoi! such a great person!" i admired that so much!
y: that sight was very weird though? 
t: yeah weird weird 
( i dun understand why yukkie said it's weird..)
y: there were lots of equipment and also cloth for reflecting the sound..
the light will reflect off the monitor and i can't see it that way...so
we only have very few lights on in the room( what is that weird?)
t: i was thiking what the hell is he doing at that time...
what a weird person...i still use " polite terms" at that time ( in 
japanese people use polite form to address their senpai)
y: and at that time we went to eat sushi together and talked about the dentist.
t: exactly at that time, i went to the dentist..i introduced him to yukkie and yukkie
goes there too now. my whole family goes there too ( wow~~~what a lucky dentist..haha
can serve yukkie and tetsu and his whole family...)
That time we hang out about 2 - 3 times a week..but we had even more fun
when we went to Hong Kong ne.  At first yukkie didn't like travelling.  but he had no reason to
not go with us so he went.
y: I'll not go by myself becoz i dun like asia that much anyway.
Anyhow the trip was very very fun!
t: i feel that its a "Panku" ( puncture?), cyber-panku
y: sou sou! there are open areas and areas with lots of skyscrapers.
when we went there they still have kowloon city.
t: can't go back there anymore ne. (?!?)
y: go in and can't come out (!?!?)
t: before england returned hong kong, the air tickets and hotel was very expensive ne
y: at that time i dun have money.
t: HUH? what? ..i'm shocked! i never knew that!?
i only know u dont' have home at that time?
y: yeah....what a bitter situation that time.
t: should we talk about it
y: sure
t: it was hard to find yukkie at that time..becoz he don't have a home...so 
he don't really have a phone number..and he doesn't have a cell phone (aka mobile phone..kedai..whatever u like to call it) either.
y: yeah only can communicate through that friend.. 
( and then they said something else that i didn't understand..^^; sorry..)
t: maa..life is sometimes good sometimes bad ( exactly he said " in life..there are mountains and vallies.." hahahah)
that wasn't very good experience..
y: after graduating from school i decided that i'm gonna make music..
the feeling was..i don't have home, i don't have money. ok. understand. and so..
t: me too.  when i went to see Zi:kill live i'm living that kind of life too...

---When u guys play together, do you guys talk about laruku?

t: oh yeah, at first it's like talking to senpai...even in age he's older than me na.
y: its' not that much diff na..
t: difference in 1 school year...but we're actually borne in the same year. 
but you have more experience na...haha when i was still a kid u already
started band..i'm ur fan ne.
y: when i was reading my own profile, i was surprised myself too.....man..i started
activity in 80!! ( wow!!!! 20 years ago!!!!)
t: people who knows yukkie must have to be around that age ne ( !? i'm not sure if that's what he meant here.)
in this world, having more experience is better ne.  people look at u differently
depending on ur age and ur experience.  therefore, i use " polite terms " to address yukkie,
well of course now i dun use it anymore ^^;
y: but at first i still tend to use polite forms
t: sou sou
y: when i first call ken "Ken-chan"....i was kinda nervous.
t: shouldn't it be easier to call ken " chan " ..
y: probably coz tetsu-kun and hyde-kun doesn't sound good.

and at the end of the interview...
they just talked about how their clothes are often the same
but only diff color...^^; ( hehe yes.i noticed too~)
